Paramount Canada's Wonderland
Carousel
Wonderland
has a delightful, romantic antique Carousel. Wonderland has
housed it in a lovely gazebo crowned with angels, and the
carousel is lovingly cared for.
According to the staff at the park, the carousel was built in
1928 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. It was originally
located in Vancouver, and made its way to Old Orchard Beach in
Maine, USA. Eventually, Taft Broadcasting Co. purchased it from
Palisades Park in New Jersey. It was placed in storage for many
years before being restored for Paramount Canada's Wonderland.
