this classic book are the simplest and best I have ever seen to help beginning
illustrators learn how to draw. One of the tips,
if I recall correctly it came from this book - was a scribble technique. You
start with a basic stick figure and fill it out until you get the right outline.
While the focus is on human form figures in the comic book style, it is
an excellent primer book for all beginning artists.
