How to Draw ... Woman's Lips

 

First, draw a rough rectangle in the general area of the mouth - using the inner eye lines as the outer guides for the mouth and following the lines as indicated in these examples.

Keep in mind that the top half of the rectangle should be slightly smaller than the bottom.

Next, draw an oval in the rough shape of the rectangle. Divide this oval in half with a wavy line that dips slightly in the centre. Then draw a circle at the top- so that just over half of the circle is outside the top of the oval.

 

Erase the guidelines ... then smooth out the lines and add in shading. Experiment with different dimensions, and study the lips of women from different races and cultures. When you are going for a sexy look, go with thicker and fuller lips. Experiment with different skin tones and textures
